		<description><![CDATA[In November, Immedia associates set out to inspire their community by donating care packages to the local YMCA for families in need.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Immedia’s corporate purpose is &#8220;To create experiences that inspire people.&#8221; Those people are our customers, our customers&#8217; customers, suppliers, fellow associates, our families, and our community.</p>
<p>In November, Immedia associates set out to inspire their community by banding together to make care packages for families in need. In all, 50 care packages were donated to the North Community YMCA. Many of these families are still recovering from the May 2011 tornado that devastated parts of North Minneapolis. Each care package included a &#8220;no-sew-throw&#8221; blanket that was made by Immedia associates in a team building exercise. The packages also contained food and personal care products.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Liberty Diversified International, Inc. (“LDI”) has announced its purchase of Immedia, Inc. (“Immedia”), a Twin Cities-based designer and manufacturer of point-of sale displays for major retailers and brand marketers.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Effective January 20, 2010, Immedia of Minneapolis, Minnesota has purchased certain assets from Prism Studios of Roseville, Minnesota. The purchase of these assets will enhance Immedia’s digital printing proficiency, and position Immedia in the industry as a premier digital printer.</p>
<p>Immedia already has significant digital printing expertise. The addition of Prism capabilities and printers will only enhance what has previously been offered to Prism customers. Immedia has a complete complement of in-house capabilities to create solutions for most merchandising situations such as design, prototyping, digital and screen printing, multiple forms of fabrication, kitting and distribution.</p>
<p>“This will be a real win for customers, associates and Immedia. We will deliver the same great service and quality that Prism customers expect and enhance the solutions offered with the additional capabilities that Immedia brings,” states Todd Voit, President of Immedia.</p>
<p>The equipment move to the Immedia Minneapolis location at 3311 Broadway Street NE location has begun. The move is planned such that it will be seamless to customers . . . business as usual.</p>

<p><strong>Client Challenge: </strong>The client needed a durable 3D aisle display to position the premium cookware brand Calphalon. Simple installation and flexibility were a necessity to support the display&#8217;s long life span.<br />
<strong>Immedia Solution:</strong> Working directly with Calphalon, we designed, prototyped, and produced an elegant and robust signing solution with UV-stable material and ink. Vacuum formed and die cut headers rounded out the displays&#8217; look.<br />
<strong>Results Delivered:</strong> The display rolled out to more than 1600 stores with various configurations. The area was a spectacle of success and worked as a natural extension of the Calphalon brand.</p>

<p>Project: Circular Outriggers (#2 Discount Dept. Store Chain)</p>
<p><strong>Client Challenge: </strong>The client was looking to create a new category &#8220;outrigger&#8221; system to be used all over the store. The goal was an adjustable system that was universal and met several technical standards for durability, heat, and humidity.<br />
<strong>Immedia Solution:</strong> Our prototyping team went to town, providing a myriad of options that fit the design vision and fulfilled the project&#8217;s goals. These prototypes were tested to ensure usability and performance.<br />
<strong>Results Delivered:</strong> The outrigger system was so successful that it was patented. The design we delivered achieved the lofty project goals and reduced SKU counts and costs. The new outrigger system was applied in all 1600 stores.</p>

<p><strong>Client Challenge:</strong> When a Canadian-based electronics retailer wanted to revamp their gaming section, they asked us for some ideas. Their goal was to visually separate and define the gaming platforms while keeping a consistent feel.<br />
<strong>Immedia Solution:</strong> Our creative design team responded with a variety of design concepts in addition to suggestions for sign formats and display methods. A single store test was conducted to make sure we were hitting all the right buttons.<br />
<strong>Results Delivered:</strong> The client commented that we &#8220;blew them away&#8221; with the ideas presented and the section reboot was rolled out to all stores. The next generation look dazzled shoppers with its easy on the eyes organization and layout.</p>

<p><strong>Client Challenge:</strong> Best Buy needed a miracle worker to get their new musical instrument section ready for its big-stage debut. Prototyping savvy and production prowess were a must.<br />
<strong>Immedia Solution:</strong> We stepped up to the challenge and managed odds and ends to ensure the whole show went on as planned. The quick production of in-store graphics and ironing out kinks on the fly ensured a timely store launch.<br />
<strong>Results Delivered:</strong> Turning the project on a dime, we helped kick out a crowd-pleasing store design with large format vinyl, window, and wall graphics. After receiving client art on Friday, we printed, kitted, and installed the completed project on Monday.</p>
